MSA OFFICIALS TRAINING

OFFICIALS CERTIFICATION – WHY BECOME ONE?

Join the Whitsunday Sporting Car Club’s Upskill Program to becoming a Motorsports Australia Official! Are you ready to take your passion for motorsports to the next level?

We’re seeking dedicated Club members, juniors and adults to become accredited Officials and play a vital role in shaping the future of our events!

Every motorsport event requires a number of officials with various skills to perform a wide range of tasks. Events such as the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix need over 1,000 officials, whereas a club-level motorkhana or hill climb need only a few.

Becoming a motorsport official is the best way of getting close to the action without being in the drivers seat. Volunteer officials are a vital part of motorsport and without them the sport could not function. Officials ensure that events are conducted safely, fairly and that the rules and regulations are upheld.

WSCC are offering the opportunity to participate in group session training to complete the online Motorsports Australia Officials Training Programs.

The online training is the stepping stone to becoming a Motorsports Australia Official and an integral part of our motorsports community.

By participating, you’ll not only enhance your knowledge and skills but also contribute to:

  • Be part of our WSCC Team that deliver events to our racing community
  • Improved safety practices
  • Increased sustainability and efficiency in event management
  • Enhanced organisation and coordination
  • In-depth understanding of rules, regulations, and procedures
